It is perhaps tentively thought that these forms may perform the same function as the famous Serpent Mound on Earth- marking a specific location of significance on a planetary grid system, the ley lines or "Dragon Paths" as we know them on our world, coming from symbols and icons that may not only be as old as the ones like this on Mars, but which may have originated there.

The relationship of this grid system to Richard C. Hoagland's "Hyperdimensional Physics" concepts is seeming demonstrable, though mathematics, which we presume to be a great part of the rationale that Carl P.
